To: My Jewish friends

Part two

In Exodus 12:3,7 The Lord God gave to Moses this instruction.

"Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying, On the tenth day of this month they are each one to take a lamb for themselves, according to their fathers' households, a lamb for each household. And you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month; and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at sunset. Moreover, they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses in which they eat it."

Hebrews 9:22 "And according to the law, one may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin."

The purpose of taking the lamb into the house five days before the sacrifice was to carefully examine it for flaws. This was a prophecy that Yeshua, the true Passover Lamb, would enter Jerusalem five days before His crucifixion. He did this, perfectly fulfilling the Word. While He was entering the city, the ritual passover lambs were being taken into homes. As these lambs were being examined for disqualifying flaws, the scribes, Pharisees, and Sadducees (Jewish leaders of that time) were challenging Yeshua trying to find a flaw in Him. None was found; He was the acceptable sacrifice for God's passover. The rulers finally resigned themselves to hiring false witnesses against Him.

Now who crucified Yeshua? I think Yeshua answered that very well: John 10:11-18 "I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep...No one has taken it away from me, but I lay it down Myself. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This authority I received from My Father."

Why did He do it? We all know the answer to that: Isaiah 53:5 "But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities..."

He didn't have to do it. He could have let us all die in our sins! But He chose to die for the sins of the world. It was your sin and mine, and every other sinner that caused His death, and the Bible says all people are sinners because we all descended from Adam. The Bible says, in the first Adam all die, in the second Adam (Yeshua) all will live. And that is my purpose in writing to you, that you might live.

There are millions of true Christians around the world, and they all know that Yeshua is HaMashiach; they know, because they have investigated His life. I just counted 44 prophecies from the Old Testament that Yeshua fulfilled. How many does it take? Most Jews don't know, because they have no interest; they won't investigate.

If the Jewish people don't look into it and receive the Savior\Redeemer, they will miss heaven. He is the only way; He is the only One Who has paid the price. And there is a hell. Your Tanakh tells about it.

In your Tanakh it tells of the time of the northern and southern kingdoms of Israel that were sent into exile for 70 years in Babylon because they would not obey their God. What was the great sin that again caused God to send Israel into exile and desolation?

Matthew 23:37 Yeshua said; "Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were unwilling. Behold, your house is being left to you desolate. For I say to you, from now on you shall not see me until you say, blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord."

Now I want to explain the names which have been given to Him by certain ones. God sent an angel to a young Jewish virgin, called Mary; he told her that she would become pregnant by the Holy Spirit, and he told her what to name her son. Now I know the angel would not give an English name to a Jewish Lady. So he gave her the Hebrew name, Yeshua, for her son. The English translation for Yeshua is 'Jesus.'

At first, only Jews became Christians. After a few years, God showed Peter (one of the Jewish leaders) in a vision that gentiles could be saved. Jews naturally thought that before a gentile could come to Lord Yeshua Hamashiach, the redeemer savior, he would have to first become a Jew. God showed him that was not necessary.

About 300 A.D. Christianity became the state religion of the Byzantine empire. There and in Italy it began to degenerate into just a religion without conversion to Jesus. For the next thousand years, through the dark ages, many who only had a form of religion, calling themselves Christians, but without Jesus, persecuted the Jewish people. Some even do this today. For this I am deeply sorry and ask your forgiveness. Any person who truly has Jesus would never think of persecuting a Jew. About 1500 A.D, God began His march to bring back truth to Christianity (His church).

The Lord Jesus Christ is God, Lord (the Father), Jesus (the Son), Christ (the anointed one). He is the One Who created the world and all it contains. He is the One Who led Israel out of Egypt, the One Who submitted to the cross to redeem man from sin. He said He came to destroy the works of the devil. Isaiah 9:6 "For a Child will be born to us, a Son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace."

If you remember, Adam, whom God put in charge, gave himself and the world to Satan. Yeshua came to take it back. Man could never obey all of the law; Yeshua obeyed it for us.

When we receive Him, then He becomes our Righteousness, in Him we are free from the curse, Deuteronomy 28:15-45; in Him we have eternal life with Him. He is the only way to heaven; He said, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man comes to the Father but by Me.

But what about God's promises to Israel? I assure you they are not forgotten. The first time He came as the Lamb of God to take away our sins. Now all Christians know that His 2nd coming is imminent. This time He will come as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, and He will rule the world one thousand years from its capitol, Jerusalem.

So you see we Christians have your God, and you have none, so why don't you join us, and you will become a child of God, with eternal life, and we will welcome His next coming together.

Part 3

My dear friend, I am delighted that you are a Jew. I love and appreciate the Jews because they were chosen by God to bring forth our Mashiach and Redeemer. Also, I apologize for the way you may have been treated in the past by church people who thought they were Christians.

And what or who is a Jew? God's definition of a Jew is: anyone who is a descendant of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Who is a Gentile? Anyone who is not a Jew is a Gentile. A Christian is anyone, be it Jew or gentile, who agrees with God that he or she is a sinner, and receives Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and invites Him into his heart. Not all church members are Christians; there are churches even today which do not tell their people how to become a Christian.

"But I'm not a sinner," you say. God says that you are. 2 Chronicles 6:36 "When they sin against Thee (for there is no man who does not sin)." Psalms 14:3 "They have all turned aside; together they have become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one." Psalms 143:2 says, "For in Thy sight no man living is righteous." Isa 64:6 "For all of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment; And all of us wither like a leaf." And in the New Testament, Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

What are the old and new testaments anyway? The Old Testament is the New Testament concealed and the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed.

Zechariah 12:9,10 "And it will come about in that day that I will set to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. And I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me Whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him, like the bitter weeping over a first born."

I have the Holy Spirit, and He enlightens me about the meaning of Scripture.

First, I notice that Israel has not lost a battle since becoming a nation, May 14, 1948.

Then, I see that some day God will remove the blinders from Jews, and when He does, the Jews will welcome Yeshua as their Lord and Savior.

Then, I see that the Almighty God of the Old Testament became the man called Yeshua or Jesus. As He walked the earth He was both God and man, but He did not operate as God, He operated as man anointed by the Holy Spirit, as Elijah and Elisha, because the work He had to do to redeem us had to be done as man.

Jesus is the Son. The Father, being Spirit, took up residence in the Son, and the Holy Spirit rests upon Him. From the resurrection to now He was and is God Almighty of both the Old and New Testament, and both testaments tell us that He is.

In your Tanakh, Isaiah 9:6 "For a Child has been born to us, a Son has been given us. And authority has settled on His shoulders. He has been named The Mighty God is planning grace; the Eternal Father, a peaceable ruler. In token of abundant authority and of peace without limit upon David's throne and kingdom that it may be firmly established in justice and in equity now and evermore."

In your Tanakh, Isaiah 53:5,6,11 "But He was wounded because of our sins, crushed because of our iniquities. He bore the chastisement that made us whole, and by His bruises we were healed. We all went astray like sheep, each going his own way; and the Lord visited upon Him the guilt of us all." "My righteous Servant makes many righteous, it is their punishment that He bears."

John 1:12 "But as many as received Him, (Jesus) to them He gave the right to become children of God..." Romans 8:1,2 "There is therefore no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death."

In John 14:6, Jesus said to Thomas, a Jew. "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me." And where is your God? He is in His Son Jesus, He is accessible only through Hamashiach Jesus Christ.

God has a book, called the book of life, this book contains all the names of His children. The only way to get your name into that book, is to receive Yeshua HaMashiach or in English, Lord Jesus Christ. Revelation 20:15 "And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire."

A Jew named John was taken to heaven and was shown many future happenings. He wrote about what he saw and it is called Revelation. Jesus told His disciples to be happy that their names were written in the book of life. END
