My dear friend, I am delighted that you are a Jew. I love and appreciate the Jews because they were chosen by God to bring forth our Mashiach and Redeemer. Also I apologize, for the way you may have been treated in the past, by church people who thought they were Christians.

Together may we examine how our Mashiach-Redeemer came into the world we live in.

Your Tanakh should say, Isaiah 7:14 "Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: 'Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call his name Immanuel.'

(God with us)

Gospel of Luke in the Holy Bible, chapter 1 verses 26-38 "Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city in Galilee, called Nazareth, to a virgin engaged to a man whose name was Joseph, of the descendants of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. And the angel said to her, 'Do not be afraid, Mary; for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb, and bear a Son, and you shall name him Yeshua. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David; and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever; and His kingdom will have no end.' And Mary said to the angel, 'How can this be, since I am a virgin?' And the angel answered and said to her, 'The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that reason the Holy Offspring shall be called the Son of God.' And Mary said, 'Behold, the bondslave of the Lord; be it done to me according to your word.' And the angel departed from her."

In your Tanakh, Micah 5:1 "And you, O Bethlehem of Ephrath, least among the clans of Judah, from you One shall come forth to rule Israel for Me. One whose origin is from old, from ancient times."

Luke 2:1-11 "Now it came about in those days that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus, that a census be taken...And all were proceeding to register for the census, everyone to his own city. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the city of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David, in order to register, along with Mary, who was engaged to him, and was with child. And it came about that while they were there, the days were completed for her to give birth. And she gave birth to her first-born son; and she wrapped Him in swaddling clothes, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. And in the same region there were some shepherds staying out in the fields, and keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord suddenly stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them; and they were terribly frightened. And the angel said to them, 'Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy which shall be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Mashiach the Lord.' And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, 'Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased.'"

In your Tanakh, Isaiah 9:5 "For a Child has been born to us, a Son has been given us. And authority has settled on His shoulders. He has been named The Mighty God is planning grace; The Eternal Father, a peaceable ruler, in token of abundant authority and of peace without limit, upon David's throne and kingdom, that it may be firmly established in justice and in equity now and evermore."

John 1:17 "For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Yeshua HaMashiach."

In your Tanakh, Isaiah 35:4-6 "Say to the anxious heart, 'Be strong, fear not; Behold, your God! Requital is coming...He Himself is coming to give you triumph.' Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then the lame shall leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb shall shout aloud."

Yeshua performed many miracles recorded in the new testament: the blind, lame, deaf, were healed, lepers were cleansed. And He still performs miracles today.

Luke 7:11-15 "And it came about that He (Yeshua) went to a city called Nain: and his disciples were with Him, accompanied by a large multitude. As He approached the gate of the city, behold, a dead man was being carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow; and a sizeable crowd from the city was with her. When the Lord saw her, He felt compassion for her, and said to her, 'Do not weep.' Then He came up and touched the coffin; and the bearers came to a halt. And He said, 'Young man, I say to you, arise!' And the dead man sat up, and began to speak. And Yeshua gave him back to his mother."

In your Tanakh, Isaiah 53:5,6,11 "But He was wounded because of our sins, crushed because of our iniquities. He bore the chastisement that made us whole, and by His bruises we were healed. We all went astray like sheep, each going his own way; and the Lord visited upon Him the guilt of us all. My righteous servant makes many righteous; it is their punishment that He bears."

Hebrews 9:12-14 "And not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, He entered the Holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling for those who have been defiled, sanctify for the cleansing of the flesh, how much more will the blood of Yeshua HaMashiach, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God."

The "Passover" is mentioned many times in your Tanakh, and is a feast of Israel, the lamb sacrificed. Yeshua was crucified on Passover. In your Tanakh, Psalms 22 describes crucifixion, though it had not been done at that time. He was and is the Passover Lamb that takes away our sin. He arose the first day of the week and was seen by more than 500 people. He remained on the earth forty days and many saw him, then His apostles saw Him ascend, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.

In your Tanakh, Jeremiah 31:31-33 " 'See, a time is coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah. It will not be like the covenant I made with their fathers, when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, a covenant which they broke, though I espoused them,' declares the Lord. 'But such is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after these days,' declares the Lord: 'I will put my teaching into their inmost being and inscribe it upon their hearts. Then I will be their God, and they shall be My people.'"

John 1:10,11,12 says of Yeshua: "He was in the world, and the world was made by Him ... He came unto his own (the Jews) and His own received Him not, but as many as did receive Him, He made them children of God."

But I received Him, so Yeshua lives in me; that makes the new covenant true in my life. Because He is in me, His law is written on my heart, He is my God, and I am one of His people. And because He lives in me, I have eternal life with God in heaven.

We call our Bible the Old Testament (same as your Tanakh) and the New Testament, based on the new covenant. Yeshua our Mashiach Redeemer brought us into the new covenant.

There are 27 books in the New Testament, 25 were written by Jews who recognized Yeshua to be their Mashiach. The first church was made up entirely of Jews. Thousands of Jews were added to the first church as time went on. There are many Jews today who are happy in Yeshua.

So if you want to be with God in heaven--most people do--then fear not to confess to God, "I agree with Your word; like a sheep, I went astray, going my own way; I am sorry for my sin, and I repent (shuv) of my sin, and I believe that you, Yeshua, went to the cross and shed Your blood to redeem me, so I ask You to save me and be my Lord and my friend.
