P U R P O S E: 1. To inform readers that the major sign of the "beginning of the end" will be the war of Ezekiel, Chapters 38 and 39, whether this happens in 10 years or 1000. Other signs are increasing in frequency and intensity, but only tell us that the time is rapidly drawing nearer in a "general" way, but when the fiery events of Ezek.38&39 happen, there are 7 years left until the Battle of Armageddon. The Lord Jesus Christ will return on the 1st of Nisan -- at Armageddon. He only returns once: "Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation" (Heb.9:28). There is no "third" appearance of Jesus, therefore, there is no pre-tribulation rapture. Jesus will quickly "come as a thief" at Armageddon [Rev.16:15], not secretly.
It's been nearly 2000 years since the resurrection of our Lord Jesus. Could there be a new Jewish temple in 2070, two millennia after the destruction of Herod's temple? Probably not. More likely around 3000 or 3030 or 3070. We all know that only the Father knows the date, but we will recognize the final generation (Mat.24:34) when that time arrives. We are not as those that sleep.
The Incarnation of God and subsequent resurrection of Christ are the focus of History [His Story]. Chronologically speaking, the earthly life of Jesus Christ marks the midpoint of time, because God's glory is the source, central purpose, and destiny of all things. Hence, as there are 4000 years B.C., there would therefore symetrically be 4000 years A.D. So the New Heavens and Earth would appear around 4000 A.D., and the return of Jesus would be 3000 A.D. --- Do I say as the sinners say, "Where is the promise of His coming?" No, I say that His promise is "yes and amen". Man's pride puts man as the main focus each time that we wrongly predict God will return during our own brief biological lifetime; we are egocentric.
For better or worse, this web site will not be here in 900 years, so this author cannot get any self-glorifying credit for prophesying the generation of Christ's return. (Back to PURPOSE continued):
2. To confirm to the reader that God-given gifts such as tongues, interpretion, healing, as well as apostles and prophets are operating today. These should be encouraged by all Christians. Tongues, apostles, and prophets did not cease after the death of Apostle John, nor after the Greek New Testament was completed. The Lord desires that all believers pray in unknown tongues. 3. To notify the reader that Christians will go through the future era known as the "Great Tribulation". At that time there will be a mighty out-pouring of the Holy Spirit of God upon all flesh. There will be a great, effective, global evangelistic thrust; --but on the other hand, there'll be massive persecution by the enemy of our souls, the devil. There shall be a great falling away from the Christian faith; this is due to the mark of the Beast (2Thes.2:3; Rev.13:17). Men must choose between God and money -- between the Lord and the Anti-christ. Those that would save their lives shall lose it; those that lose their lives for Christ's sake shall find it. All that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. We are "joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him". Through much tribulation shall you enter the Kingdom of God. There is no "easy escape"!
4. To encourage churches to be one in the 'faith', that is, doctrine. We all are presently one in Spirit, but not in the doctrine of the apostles. Why? We camp and settle on comfortable terraces of truth, rather than continuing the arduous climb up the mountain, seeking the full counsel of God. Some do not consume the entirety of the Bible. Many are like high school students that say proudly: "My school is better than yours!" -- likewise -- "My church is better than yours!" This selfish pride ought not so to be! We must seek the truth until there is no disparity amongst the believers! Jesus is coming for a Bride that is without spot, wrinkle, or blemish. Pride and divisiveness are blemishes!
How to Have Unity: It is crucial for Christians everywhere to enter into the last seven years before the return of Jesus. At that time the Lord will unlease a torrential rain of the anointing of the Spirit which will unify the Church in words and deeds. The Church will be powerful, persuasive, penetrating, persecuted, purged, perfected, protected and a perfume in God's nostrils. We will be the fragrance of life unto those that find it, and the odor of death unto those that flee from God. The sun shall be dark, the moon red ... "and it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved!"
