Oh precious people, I sense the sweetness of His presence even now. Can you feel Him? He is here! He’s in this place, and I must tell you, this is not by accident. No, it’s not coincidence that you came today. It’s not chance that you tuned your heart to listen, because the Spirit of the living God has something to say to you, something real, something.

You see, there are moments, sacred moments when the veil between the natural and the divine becomes so thin … so thin, and when you pray in tongues, you are stepping into that space. Oh, don’t take it lightly. Don’t treat it like just another prayer, because every time you yield your tongue to the Holy Ghost, something begins to shift. Something begins to happen now in the future. Not next year, but now.

There are five things, five divine things that always begin to take place every time you surrender yourself in the Spirit and pray in that holy language. They don’t sometimes happen. They don’t maybe happen. They always happen, because God is not a man that He should lie.

When the Spirit moves, He moves with purpose. He moves with power, and He moves with fire.

Some of you have been praying and wondering if it’s working. Some of you have been speaking in tongues and questioning, “Is something really happening?”

Oh beloved, if only your eyes could see what Heaven sees when you pray in the Spirit! If only you could see the wind of glory that begins to blow over your soul!

I didn’t come here to entertain you. I came to awaken you. I came to stir that flame again. I came to tell you that when you pray in tongues, Heaven reacts. Hell trembles. Angels are dispatched. Bondages break. Destiny is stirred.

You are not just uttering sounds. You are partnering with the mind of God. You are releasing mysteries into the atmosphere. You are waging war with weapons not made by man.

Oh, how the devil fears a praying believer! But more than that, he fears a believer who prays in tongues with the understanding of what is being unleashed.

That is why today I must tell you what always begins to take place, because when you know, when you really know, you will never go back to casual praying again. You will never treat the gift of tongues like a ritual. You will hold it close like breath in your lungs. You will guard it. You will love it, because you will understand it is one of the greatest treasures the Spirit has ever given to the church.

So listen closely. Lean in, because from this moment forward, your prayer life is about to change forever:

When you pray in tongues, you are not speaking to man, but to God. That alone should cause your spirit to pause in holy reverence, because this is not just a language. It is a divine connection, a heavenly code. It bypasses your natural understanding, bypasses your intellect, and plugs you directly into the mind and will of God.

Paul said in 1 Corinthians 14:2, “For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God. For no man understandeth him, howbeit in the Spirit he speaketh mysteries.”

That word, "mysteries," is not casual. It’s not hidden for the sake of being hidden. It’s hidden because it’s holy, and when you pray in tongues, you begin to call those mysteries forth. You awaken the things in the spirit realm that God has prepared for your destiny.

These are mysteries your mind cannot comprehend. These are secrets the enemy cannot decode. These are truths that shape your future, but they don’t come through reason; they come through revelation, and revelation flows when you pray in the Spirit. Suddenly the things that were confusing begin to align.

The chaos starts to make sense, not because you understand everything in the natural, but because your spirit is catching up with what Heaven already knows about you … that business idea you’ve been wrestling with, that decision you couldn’t seem to get peace on, that inner pull towards something greater,

When you pray in tongues, you are aligning yourself with the exact knowledge. God has already determined for your life [that] which your eyes cannot see, what your ears have not heard, and what has not even entered your heart.

These are things that begin to unfold as you pray in tongues. You are no longer praying weak prayers of assumption. You are praying bold prayers of precision. You are not casting your words into the air hoping something sticks. No, you are releasing divine strategies, blueprints, and solutions straight from the throne of God.

The beautiful thing is you don’t even have to understand it for it to work. You just have to yield. You just have to trust the Holy Spirit enough to pray through you. In the moments you feel stuck, when doors feel shut, when Heaven feels silent, if you will press in and pray in tongues, you’ll begin to see the movement in the invisible.

You will feel the shifting, not outside first, but inside, because the mysteries of God don’t just change your circumstances, they change you. They awaken your identity. They ignite your purpose. They cleanse your perspective.

Sometimes what you think is a delay is simply a divine strategy to be waiting on. Every time you pray in tongues, you are putting the key into the lock. You are opening up access to what was hidden, so that it can be revealed in the right time, in the right way.

There are things about your calling that your natural mind will never figure out. There are assignments connected to your name that will not be discovered through earthly counsel. They’re spiritual by design and must be spiritually received.

When you engage in tongues, you invite the wisdom of God to interpret the blueprint of your life. Your spirit becomes pregnant with direction. Your heart begins to carry insight. That which seemed like mystery turns into clarity, not through logic, but through encounter.

The Holy Spirit is the only One Who knows what the Father has prepared for you, and when you give Him your tongue, you are letting Him speak those things into motion. You are letting Him take the pen and begin to write chapters you didn’t even know were missing from your story.

You are not just praying for what you want. You are praying for what Heaven has already designed for your destiny. You are no longer guessing. You are no longer hoping blindly. You are participating in the fulfillment of God’s perfect will for your life.

When you pray in tongues, your spirit becomes alert in ways your flesh never could. The fog begins to lift. The noise of the world starts to fade, and suddenly your inner man is awakened to the unseen.

Spiritual discernment is not a talent. It is a grace that grows in the presence of the Spirit, and when you yield to the language of Heaven, it is like tuning the frequency of your soul to hear the whispers of God, and to recognize the subtle shifts of the spirit realm.

There are things happening around you all the time. Battles are being waged. Traps are being set, divine opportunities passing by, but without discernment, you will walk past them unaware.

Tongues don’t just build you up. They sharpen you. They make you sensitive to what is of God, and what is not. They help you see beyond the surface and recognize when something looks good, but carries no [anointing] oil.

The more you pray in tongues, the more your spirit begins to distinguish between truth and deception. You start picking up spiritual atmospheres. You sense when something is off before it ever shows in the natural. You feel the warning when someone’s words sound right, but their spirit feels wrong.

It’s the kind of discernment that cannot be taught in the classroom or learned from a book. It is only birthed in intimacy with the Holy Spirit, and that intimacy is deepened every time you speak in tongues. Your spiritual ears are trained to recognize the Shepherd’s voice. Your spiritual eyes are opened to see beyond what the flesh presents.

There are times you don’t know what’s wrong, but you just know something is not right. That is not paranoia. That is not overthinking. That is your discernment coming alive. The more you pray in tongues, the stronger that inner knowing becomes. You stop needing external confirmation, because your spirit already knows. You stop looking for signs in the natural, because the spirit within you begins to witness to the Truth.

You may not even have the full picture, but you’ll know how to move. You’ll know when to wait, when to speak, when to leave, and when to fight.

In a world full of spiritual noise, praying in tongues becomes a filter that clears away the static. You begin to recognize the difference between a divine door and a demonic trap. You stop being moved by emotion and start being led by revelation. The Holy Spirit becomes your Guide, your Guard, and your source of discernment.

The more you yield your tongue to Him, the more you begin to see how Heaven sees. You will no longer be easily manipulated. You will no longer fall for every distraction sent to delay your destiny, because your spirit will rise up and say, “That’s not from God.”

Even when others are clapping for it, even when the crowd is celebrating it, your spirit knows the Truth. Discernment is a shield. It protects you from aligning with the wrong people, stepping into the wrong places, and making the wrong decisions.

That discernment is sharpened in the secret place. It is forged through consistency with the Spirit, and when you speak in tongues, you are not just praying. You are activating that shield. You are silencing the voice of the enemy, and tuning into the voice of God.

That kind of discernment is what keeps you rooted when the storms come. It keeps you focused when the distractions grow louder. It keeps you obedient when compromise looks easier.

You will begin to see the hand of God where others see coincidence. You’ll sense the warfare before it manifests. You’ll feel the presence of angels when others are unaware. You’ll walk into rooms and feel what words cannot say. That is the level of awareness praying in tongues cultivates within you, not because you are special, but because the Spirit in you has been given full access.

When He has your tongue, He begins to awaken your eyes. When He has your voice, He trains your ears. When you pray in tongues, you are giving God permission to show you what others miss, to warn you before danger arises, and to speak truth in the midst of confusion.

When you pray in tongues, something begins to build deep within you. It’s not emotional hype. It’s not surface-level motivation. It’s supernatural strength, the kind of strength that doesn’t make sense to the natural mind, the kind of boldness that rises from the inside out, not because everything around you is perfect, but because the Spirit of God is constructing something unshakable within your inner man.

Jude 1:20 says, “But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.”

That means, every time you pray in tongues, you are edifying, fortifying, and strengthening yourself from the inside. You are being built up like a spiritual fortress. This strength is not the kind that bends in the wind. It is not the kind that falls apart under pressure. It is the kind that stands when others fall. It is the kind that presses forward when the enemy tries to block your way.

When you pray in tongues, your inner man is being filled with heavenly fuel. Your faith becomes alive. Your courage begins to swell. Fear begins to shrink. You are no longer functioning from your own reservoir. You are drinking from the well that never runs dry. It’s not your energy. It’s the Holy Spirit empowering you. It’s His voice rising in your spirit saying, “You can do all things through Christ.”

Many people walk around weary because they haven’t tapped into the power source within them. They pray, but they pray from a place of desperation, not connection; but when you begin to pray in tongues consistently, you begin to notice that the exhaustion doesn’t take you out like it used to.

The attacks don’t shake you the way they used to, because now you are carrying something. You are clothed in spiritual might. You are armored with boldness that doesn’t come from personality or confidence, but from communion with the Spirit. You start speaking with authority. You start walking with conviction. You’re not second-guessing yourself every five minutes, because your spirit is settled.

Tongues don’t just give you peace. They give you power, power to endure, power to declare, power to resist, power to conquer.

When you pray in tongues, you are not just asking for strength. You are receiving it. It’s being poured into you, and not just for yourself. That strength overflows. It begins to impact how you speak to others, how you carry yourself, how you respond in crisis.

You walk into difficult situations, and people notice something different. They see calm in your eyes. They hear authority in your words, not because you’ve rehearsed it, but because you’ve been filled.

This is the secret place where warriors are formed, where prayer becomes preparation, where you go in feeling weak, and come out with a roar in your spirit. Not every storm in life will be removed, but the strength you carry will determine how you walk through it.

Praying in tongues makes you strong for the journey. It fortifies you for the assignment. It lifts you when discouragement tries to weigh you down. It puts a fire in your bones when everything around you feels cold.

The boldness that rises through praying in tongues is not arrogance. It’s confidence in who God is in you. You stop apologizing for being anointed. You stop hiding your calling. You stop minimizing your voice, because now you know you are not walking alone.

You’ve been in the secret place, and you carry the fragrance of Heaven. The enemy recognizes it. People around you feel it. Heaven responds to it. Your presence begins to shift atmospheres, because your spirit is no longer silent. It’s roaring with the voice of the Spirit, and that roar came from the time you spent in tongues, building strength when no one else saw you, growing courage when no one else encouraged you, becoming bold in the Spirit until no threat, no delay, no opposition could stop what God has placed inside you.

When you pray in tongues, something begins to align, something sacred, something divine. It’s not always visible to the naked eye, but the alignment is real, and it is spiritual.

Heaven has an order, a rhythm, a divine flow; and when you begin to speak in that heavenly language, you step into sync with the Spirit of God. The distractions begin to lose their grip. The detour starts to dissolve, and suddenly your life starts to move in harmony with Heaven’s agenda. You are no longer driven by pressure. You are led by purpose.

You begin to notice that your steps are ordered. Your decisions are clearer, and your path carries peace, not confusion. That’s because you are no longer walking according to the flesh. You’re being directed by the Spirit.

In Romans 8:26-27, the Word tells us that when we don’t know what to pray for, the Spirit Himself intercedes through us with groanings too deep for words, and the One Who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.

That’s what happens when you pray in tongues. Your prayer life moves beyond wish lists, and enters into divine strategy. You stop praying from your pain, and start praying from His perspective. You are no longer trying to convince God to move in your direction. You are yielding so He can move into His.

That is alignment. You may not realize it in the moment, but every syllable you speak in tongues is pulling you closer to divine timing. It’s uprooting what doesn’t belong. It’s untangling what confusion tried to twist. It’s healing areas of resistance you didn’t even know were holding you back.

Tongues are not random. They are precise. They are surgical. The Spirit knows what you don’t, and when He prays through you, He begins to recalibrate your desires, your motives, your thoughts. You start losing interest in things that used to tempt you. You stop chasing what looks good, and start waiting for what is God.

And that alignment becomes protection, because when you are in step with the Spirit, you are not easily lured away by counterfeit opportunities. You start sensing when something is not for you. Even if it seems perfect on paper, you begin to feel God’s pause in your spirit, even when everyone else is telling you to rush.

That’s because praying in tongues has trained your heart to trust His pace, and when your heart is in alignment with His, you stop striving and start flowing. You stop trying to force open doors, and start walking through the ones He opens. You stop being moved by urgency, and start being anchored in obedience.

Tongues bring every part of you into agreement with God’s design; your emotions, your will, your thoughts, your posture. What was once chaotic becomes ordered. What was once overwhelming becomes manageable, because now you are living from a place of agreement. You and Heaven are speaking the same language. You and the Spirit are walking the same path.

That alignment starts to spill over into your relationships, your habits, your priorities. You begin to notice that divine connections come without manipulation, that doors open without compromise, and that favor follows you not because you’re striving, but because you are aligned.

There are assignments that can only be revealed when your spirit is in the right posture. There are instructions that require a surrendered tongue to be heard clearly. There are moments in destiny that won’t make sense to your flesh, but your spirit will recognize them as divine when you’ve been in alignment through tongues.

It’s not just about speaking in an unknown language. It’s about entering into divine synchronization where Heaven’s plan becomes your lifestyle. You become a vessel that doesn’t just carry God’s presence, but also His priorities.

Your schedule begins to reflect His timing. Your goals begin to reflect His heart, and your vision begins to reflect His perspective. That’s what happens when you pray in tongues. Not just words, but alignment with Heaven’s agenda.

When you pray in tongues, something shifts in the atmosphere around you. It’s not always loud, and it’s not always dramatic, but it is always supernatural, because what you are doing in those moments is releasing the sound of Heaven into the earth, and when Heaven speaks, creation responds.

Angels are not moved by emotional prayers. They are moved by spiritual authority. They respond to the frequency of Heaven, and tongues carry that frequency. When you pray in tongues, you are not just speaking for your benefit. You are activating supernatural activity in the unseen realm.

Psalms 103:20 says, “Bless the Lord, ye angels that excel in strength, that do His commandments, hearkening unto the voice of His Word.”

The moment you speak the Word in the Spirit, angels begin to move in accordance with God’s will. Praying in tongues invites angelic intervention, not because you are commanding angels directly, but because you are yielding to the Spirit Who already commands them.

Your utterances in tongues are not empty. They are echoes of divine instruction. You may not understand what you are saying, but Heaven does. The angels hear it as a command, a release, a dispatch. Assignments are being activated. Chains are being broken. Delays are being shattered. The Spirit is working, and angels are moving to accomplish what is spoken through your surrendered tongue.

Tongues are not a side gift. They are a divine tool for victory. They bridge the gap between your need and God’s solution by releasing the supernatural power required to fulfill Heaven’s agenda.

Many times people don’t realize why things begin to accelerate after seasons of praying in tongues. Doors open unexpectedly. Battles resolve without human intervention. Protection arises in situations where danger was close.

These are not coincidences. They are signs that the supernatural realm has responded. Praying in tongues releases Heaven’s resources. It causes things to align. It causes things to be shielded. It causes divine reinforcements to be dispatched.

The Spirit knows where you cannot go, sees what you cannot see, and prepares what you are not aware of; and when you pray in tongues, you are releasing that preparation into motion. You are not just praying for help; you’re summoning divine assistance.

In times of warfare, tongues become a weapon. The enemy cannot decode it, and because he cannot decode it, he cannot stop it. It’s encrypted. It’s sealed. It’s holy. Tongues dismantle the strategies of hell. They frustrate the operations of darkness. They dismantle plots before they manifest.

You are not always aware of the attacks that were forming against you, but when you are faithful in tongues, God intervenes through His angelic hosts before the arrows even fly. You were spared not because you saw it, but because you spoke in the Spirit, and Heaven responded.

The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and when you engage in tongues, you invite that presence to surround your life, your family, your purpose. There are breakthroughs that require more than just human effort. They require supernatural assistance, and praying in tongues activates that realm. It calls on what is higher. It invites what is greater.

There are rooms you cannot enter, but angels can. There are hearts you cannot change, but the Spirit can reach. There are burdens you cannot carry, but Heaven can lift.

Every time you pray in tongues, you are creating divine movement. Things are shifting. Delays are being removed. Favor is being released. You may feel nothing in the moment, but your obedience in that prayer is echoing through the heavens. You are stirring angelic responses. You are setting things in motion.

This is why the enemy fights believers so hard to neglect praying in the Spirit, because he knows the moment you yield to tongues, your words become weapons, your breath becomes breakthrough, your voice becomes a vessel for divine instruction.

Tongues make your atmosphere pregnant with possibility. They fill your home with the sound of God’s dominion. They push back darkness without you even needing to raise your voice in English. They go ahead of you into situations, and prepare the way.

You don’t always see the angels, but they are working, warring, protecting, providing, all because Heaven responded to the language of the Spirit flowing from your surrendered lips.
