The Jehovah Witness Bible Proves that Jesus Christ is God(although they don't believe it)

difference between those who do and those who do not have God. The matter is so important that
in vs. 10 those who do not have this one doctrine are not even to be allowed into one's house.
What is this doctrine that the Bible declares is so important?
2 JOHN 9-11 9 "Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 10 "If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 11 "For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds. The doctrine of Christ ... Who Jesus is ... by the Bible's own testimony is the most important
doctrine the Christian can possess. Who is this Christ that died on the cross for the sins of
mankind? Was He a created being, created by God the Father only to be killed for His rebellious
creation? If this is who Jesus really is then anyone could have died for man's sins. It could have
been any angel, any man, or it could even have been you or I.
But the doctrine of Christ as taught in the Bible is something far different. Jesus Christ was not just a created being, a sort of fall guy sent from heaven. The Bible clearly teaches the Lord Jesus Christ was and is GOD HIMSELF, that it was the Creator and Sustainer of the entire universe, Almighty God Himself, who came down and took upon Himself His own penalty for the sins of mankind. God in His love for man didn't send anyone else, but He Himself came and allowed His own precious blood to be spilled for our sins. THE BIBLE TEACHES THAT JESUS IS GOD page 3
This is the key teaching of the Bible, which is clearly taught in the Authorized Version of the Bible. Because the Jehovah's Witnesses have not accepted this doctrine, they have prepared their own translation, which greatly obscures this basic Biblical truth. But, even in their New World Translation, this doctrine can be clearly seen by simply examining the Bible's teaching on who God and Jesus are. If every quality and attribute possessed by God is also possessed by Jesus, then Jesus Himself must be God. ABOUT THE TRANSLATION While we do not believe that the Jehovah's Witnesses New World Translation is an accurate translation of the Bible, we have used its scriptures to prove that even in their own translation, Jesus is still unmistakably the one and only God. Let us begin a scriptural comparison. Who does the Bible say that Jesus is, and who does the Bible say that God (or Jehovah) is? WHO WILL JUDGE US? page 4 GOD? Isa. 33:22 "For Jehovah is our judge, " Psalms 50:6 "For God Himself is Judge. " JESUS CHRIST? 2 Tim. 4:1 "1 solemnly charge you before God and Christ Jesus, Who is destined to judge the living and the dead. " WHO IS THE SHEPHERD? Psalms 23:1 "Jehovah is my Shepherd." John 10:11 "1 (Jesus) Am the fine shepherd;" WHO IS THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD? page 5 JEHOVAH? Psalms 27:1 "Jehovah is my light ..." Micah 7:8 ':.. although I dwell in the darkness, Jehovah will be a light to me. JESUS? John 8.12 "Therefore Jesus spoke again to them, saying:'I Am the light of the world.' " WHOSE JUDGMENT SEAT WILL WE APPEAR BEFORE?
GOD'S? Rom. 14:10 "For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God:" CHRIST'S? II Cor. 5:10 "For we must all be made manifest before the judgment seat of the Christ." WHOSE NAME DO WE USE IN BAPTISM? page 6 Matt. 28:18 "And Jesus approached and spoke to them, saying ... 19 Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. " WHO SENT THE HOLY SPIRIT? page 7 THE FATHER? John 14:16-17 "And I will request the Father and He will give you another Helper to be with you forever, the Spirit of the truth. John 14:26 "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit which the Father will send in My name, THE SON? John 15:26 "When the Helper comes that I will send you from the Father, the Spirit of the truth." John 16.7 "For if I do not go away, the Helper will by no means come to you; but if I do go My way, I will send Him to you. WHO IS THE KING OF THE JEWS? page 8 JEHOVAH? Isa. 44:6 "This is what Jehovah has said, the King of Israel ..." Isa. 33:22 "Jehovah is our King;" JESUS? Matt. 27:37 "Also, they posted above His head the charge against Him, in writing: "This is Jesus the King of the Jews. " John 19:21 "However, the chief priests of the Jews began to say to Pilate: "Do not write 'The King of the Jews,' but that He said, 'I Am King of the Jews.' " WHO RAISED JESUS FROM THE DEAD? page 9 THE FATHER? Acts 3:15 "whereas you killed the Chief Agent of life. But God raised Him up from the dead," Galatians 1:1 "through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised Him up from the dead," THE SON? John 2.19 "in answer Jesus said to them: 'Break down this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.' 21 But He was talking about the temple of His body." JEHOVAH AND JESUS ARE THE CREATOR page 10 "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. " (Gen. 1:1) "Of course, every house is constructed by someone, but He that constructed all things is God, "(Heb. 3:4) "Originally the Word was... All things came into existence through Him, and apart from Him not even one thing came into existence." (John 1:1&3) "I, Jehovah, Am doing everything, stretching out the heavens by Myself, laying out the earth. Who was with Me?" (Isa. 44:24) "But with reference to the Son ... And: 'You, O Lord, founded the earth at the beginning, and the heavens are works of Your hands. " (Heb. 1:8&10) "in being fatherless, motherless, without genealogy, having neither a beginning of days nor an end of life, but having been made like the Son of God, He remains a priest perpetually. "(Heb. 7:3) JEHOVAH AND JESUS ARE "LORD OF LORDS" page 11 "For Jehovah YOUR God is the God of gods and the Lord of lords, the great, mighty and fear-inspiring God, "(Deut. 10:17) "These will do battle with the Lamb, but, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, the Lamb will conquer them."(Rev. 17:14) "One body there is, and one Spirit, even as you are called in the one hope to which you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all persons, who is over all and through all and in all" (Eph. 4:4-5) "... and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are." (1 Cor. 8:6)
JEHOVAH AND JESUS ARE THE FIRST AND LAST page 12 "This is what Jehovah has said, the King of Israel and the Repurchaser of him, Jehovah of armies: 'I Am the first and I Am the last, and besides Me there is no God.' "(Isa. 44:6) " 'I Am the Alpha and the Omega,'says Jehovah God, 'the One Who is and Who was and Who is coming, the Almighty.'"(Rev. 1.8) "And when I saw Him, I fell as dead at His feet. And He laid his right hand upon me and said: 'Do not be fearful. I Am the First and the Last, and the living One; and I became dead, but, look! I Am living for ever and ever, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.' "(Rev. 1:17-18) and (Rev. 22:12-13,20) JEHOVAH AND JESUS ARE "ONE GOD" page 13 "I Am Jehovah, and there is no one else, With the exception of Me there is no God."(Isa. 45:5) "For there has been a Child born to us, there has been a Son given to us, and the princely rule will come to be upon His shoulder. And his name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Father for eternity, Prince of Peace. "(Isa. 9:6) ': .. and they will certainly support themselves upon Jehovah, the Holy One of Israel, in trueness. A mere remnant will return, the remnant of Jacob, to the Mighty God"(Isa. 10:20-21) "See now that I--I Am he. And there are no gods together with Me." (Deut. 32:39) page 14 "'You are My witnesses,' is the utterance of Jehovah ... Before Me there was no God formed, and after Me there continued to be none. " (John 20:28) JEHOVAH AND JESUS ARE THE SAVIOR page 15 "I--I Am Jehovah, and besides Me there is no savior."(Isa. 43:11) "... Is it not I, Jehovah, besides Whom there is no other God; a righteous God and a Savior, there being none excepting Me?" (Isa. 45:21) "In addition, we ourselves have beheld and are bearing witness that the Father has sent forth his Son as Savior of the world."(I John 4:14) "Let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene ... there is no salvation in anyone else, for there is not another name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must get saved."(Acts 4:10,12) page 16 ". .. under command of our Savior, God;"(Tit. 1.3) "... God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior. "(Tit. 1:4) ... so that they may adorn the teaching of our Savior, God, in all things"(Tit. 2:10) "... our Savior Christ Jesus" (Tit. 2:13) WORSHIP GOD: ONLY GOD IS WORSHIPPED page 17 "Then Jesus said to him: 'Go away, Satan! For it is written, 'It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to Him alone you must render sacred service' "(Matt. 4:10) "At that I fell down before his feet to worship him. But he tells me: 'Be careful! Do not do that! All I am is a fellow slave of you and of your brothers who have the work of witnessing to Jesus. Worship God;' " (Rev. 19:10), (Rev. 5:11-12,14) JESUS IS WORSHIPPED page 18 "But when He again brings His Firstborn into the inhabited earth, He says: 'And let all God's angels worship Him.' "(Heb. 1.6) "And I saw, and I heard a voice of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the older persons ... saying with a loud voice: 'The Lamb that was slaughtered is worthy to receive the power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing.' And every creature that is in heaven and on earth and underneath the earth and on the sea, and all the things in them, I heard saying: 'To the One sitting on the throne and to the Lamb be the blessing and the honor and the glory and the might forever and ever.' And the four living creatures went saying: 'Amen!' and the older persons fell down and worshipped." (Revelation 5:11-14) WHO IS JESUS? page 19 This is by no means the end. The list of Who Christ is goes on and on. Every attribute of God is also ascribed to Christ. Therefore, Jesus Christ must be more than a mere man. Men do not possess all the qualities of God. Only God Himself can possess all the qualities of God. Therefore, Jesus Christ Himself must be the One True God. (Num. 23:19, Hos. 11:9, 1 Sam. 15:29, Mal. 3:6, Tit. 1.2, Jas. 1:17) Though the Jehovah's Witnesses deny this, their own Bible clearly teaches it, as does the King James Bible and every other translation. page 20 A classic example of how the New World Translation has incorrectly translated certain vital scriptures in the Holy Bible can be seen by examining John 1:1. The Jehovah's Witnesses N.W.T. says "and the Word was a god." There are at least 18 other translations of the Bible that translate the last words in John 1:1 as "the Word was God." They are: 1) Douay 2) King James 3) Darby 4) Rotherham 5) New Life Testament 6) New International 7) Jerusalem 8) Modern King James 9) Revised Standard 10) American Standard 11) Numeric English N.T. 12) New American Standard 13) Berkeley 14) Phillips 15) Weymouth 16) Montgomery 17) Young's Literal Trans. 18) N.T. in Basic English page 21 In addition to these 18 translations, we have compiled 8 other versions which say: 1) "and God was the Word" Lamsa 2) "and the Word was God Himself" Amplified 3) "the Word was
... absolute diety." Wuest 4) "the Word was God Himself." Williams 5) "the Word was divine."
Smith & Goodspeed 6) "what God was, the Word was." New English 7) "He was the same as
God."Today's English 8) "the Logos was divine." Moffatt
Out of all the existing translations of the Holy Bible, taken from the original languages, ONLY those published by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society deny that Jesus Christ is God. page 22 Therefore, if you find yourself in the Jehovah's Witnesses or a similar organization which does not
believe and teach this essential Christian doctrine, your eternal salvation may very well depend on
you leaving them and finding a good fundamental Christian church that can instruct and nurture
you in the true Christian faith. Remember, "Whosoever ... abideth not in the doctrine of Christ,
hath not God." 2 John 9
HOW TO BECOME A CHRISTIAN A true Christian is someone who has: 1. Stopped trusting in his own good works to make him acceptable before God, and started trusting in Jesus Christ's death, burial and resurrection alone for salvation. Eph. 2:8-9 2. Invited Jesus Christ to come and personally live inside of him and forgive him of his sins. Jn. 10:14 3. Asked Jesus to take His rightful place as Lord and God of his life. Phil. 2:11. Asked Jesus for power to turn away from everything the Bible says is sin.
